Ocean City High School's Kevin Scott finished eighth in the boys Emerging Elite two-mile race and set a school record at the New Balance Indoor Nationals at the New York Armory on Friday.

His time of 9 minutes, 33.60 seconds broke his old school mark of 9:40.67, set earlier this season. En route to the finish, Scott also set school marks in the 3,000 meters (8:51.27) and the 3,200 meters (9:27.27).

The O.C. girls distance medley team of MaryKate Brelsford, Cierra Granger, Rachel Stremme and Bridget Flynn placed 21st in the Elite Division in 12:35.18.
