Boys swimming, ice hockey roundup: Oakcrest boys lose in S.J. Public B quarters; St. Augustine falls to Don Bosco in ice hockey
The Moorestown High School boys swimming team, ranked third in The Press Elite 11, beat visiting Oakcrest 110-60 in a South Jersey Public B quarterfinal meet on Sunday.
Will Van Fossen led the Quakers with wins in the 200- and 500-yard freestyle races.
Moorestown (13-1), the top seed, hosts fifth-seeded Manasquan today in a semifinal meet.
Oakcrest’s George Schieder won the 100 freestyle in 49.71 seconds, and teammate Kyle Risley won the 50 freestyle in 23.03.
The Falcons are 6-6.

The Don Bosco Prep ice hockey team overcame a two-goal deficit and beat visting St. Augustine Prep.
Don Bosco’s Greg Jandoli had a natural hat trick spanning the first and second periods to put the Ironmen up 3-2.
St. Augustine’s Dean DiSimone made it 1-0 in the first period, and Daulton O’Connor and Aaron Hannah assisted. Teammate Devon Lee made it 2-0 midway through the period.
DiSimone got the assist.
St. Augustine goalie Dillon Gravenstine made 40 saves.
