Middle Township High School junior Alex Terenik posted five goals, including the 100th of his career, in a 14-4 win over host Vineland in a Cape-Atlantic League boys lacrosse game Friday.

The 17-year old Cape May Court House resident scored with 7 minutes and 48 seconds in to the third quarter.

He now has 103 goals for his career.

"Going in I knew I was two away and I did what I normally do and happened to score five, so it was nice," Terenik said by phone Friday. "It feels good, but it's more of a team thing, everyone helped me out."

Terenik also recorded an assist, while Jack Denis led the Panthers, ranked No. 10 in the Press Elite 11, with five goals and three assists.

For Vineland, Mikey Ostroski scored three goals.

Ryan King paced Egg Harbor Township with five goals and three assists. Blaise Mossman and Justin Greenwood each contributed two goals and two assists for the Eagles.

Jack Von Savage scored Lower Cape May's lone goal.

Louis Parks and Blake Biren each scored twice for visiting Oakcrest. The Falcons led 10-8 before Ocean City's Kevin Dougherty scored his fourth goal of the game in the final minute. O.C.'s Dan Spatol scored three goals.
