Southern Regional, Junior
Gesicki excelled in football, basketball and volleyball. He has received numerous Division I scholarship offers in all three sports. Gesicki sparked the Rams to the state Group IV volleyball title this spring. He averaged 19.6 points and 11.7 rebounds in basketball. A receiver and defensive back in football, Gesicki caught 50 passes for 954 yards and nine touchdowns.
Isaac and Jacob Clark
Led the Pleasantville 4x800-meter relay to a Championship of America victory at The Penn Relays Carnival. Jacob won the state Group II outdoor track and field 1,600 championship. Isaac won the 800 run at the outdoor Meet of Champions. He also won the 800 at the indoor Meet of Champions. They are going to South Plains College, a junior college track and field power in Texas.
Cedar Creek, Senior
Melton excelled in football and track and field. He helped lead the Pirates to the South Jersey Group II title game in football. Melton scored 26 touchdowns, rushed for 917 yards and had 903 receiving yards. In track and field, Melton won the state Group II long jump and the South Jersey Group II and Atlantic County 100- meter titles.
Williams was The Press Wrestler of the Year. He went 41-1 and reached the 182-pound state final. Williams won his third District 30 and second Region 8 championships. Williams also was the leading rusher for the Hammonton football team. Williams will wrestle at Division I Bloomsburg University in Pennsylvania.
Hills was The Press Male Athlete of the Fall. He led the Wildwood football team to its first ever playoff appearance. Hills rushed 205 times for 2,077 yards and scored 35 touchdowns. He also played basketball for the Warriors. Hills plans to attend University of Delaware.
