The Buena Regional High School boys soccer team held host Winslow Township scoreless to earn its program-best 10th shutout of the season Friday in a non-league game.

The Chiefs broke the old record of nine shutouts in a season, set in 1992.

Jake Bleyhl made four saves and Miguel Hernandez recorded a hat trick.

Josue Guadarrama added a goal and an assist and Zayne Czeronka also scored as Buena won its third straight game.

Pete Varsalona scored the lone goal midway through the first half to lead the Braves.

Absegami's Gianfranco Rifici recovered a bouncing ball inside EHT's box and passed the ball to Varsalona who found the net.

Rifici saved a goal in the second half when he volleyed the ball out of the box from on his own goal line.

Matt McCormick made three saves for Absegami to earn the shutout. Brad Watkins made seven saves for EHT.

Peyton Kelly made 10 saves for the visiting Mustangs.

Noah Granigan scored twice to lead Middle. Granigan's first goal came 16 minutes into the first half when he beat a couple of defenders after a pass by Andrew Hoy.

Scott Kurkowski also scored for the Panthers. Steven Hand and Tanner Kerr each played a half and combined for the shutout win.

Fransisco DePalma made 13 saves for Holy Spirit.
