Baseball roundup: No. 9 Ocean City edges Absegami in ninth inning

Zach Zellers' pinch-hit RBI single with the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth gave Ocean City High School a 2-1 win against Absegami in a Cape-Atlantic League game.

Sean Mooney picked up the win in relief of starter Zach Altieri. Ocean City is No. 9 in The Press Elite 11.

Absegami's Brandon Bowen, who also started and went seven innings with six strikeouts, gave Absegami its only run with an RBI double in the sixth.

For visiting St. Joseph, Alec Craig had two hits, including a two-run homer.
