Pinelands Regional senior Matt Worosz won his second consecutive first-singles title at the Ocean County Tournament at the Bey Lea Tennis Center in Toms River on Sunday.

Worosz defeated Toms River North's Adam Lefkandinos in the first singles 5-7, 6-4, 6-3.

Third-singles player Noah Cardillo placed third for Pinelands.

Pinelands’ Pablo Rubio and Chuck Poklikuha lost in the first-doubles final to Toms River North in straight sets. Austin Osenenko and Paul Cardillo lost in the finals to Monsignor Donovan's second-doubles team.

The Wildcats finished second in team scoring with 24 points.
