The Holy Spirit High School boys junior eight was the area's lone winning boat at the 10th annual St. Augustine Lake Lenape Invitational on the lake in Mays Landing on Saturday.

The 10-race regatta was for non-public boys teams.

Holy Spirit won the 1,500-meter junior eight race in 4 minutes, 43.86 seconds. The Spartans' crew consisted of stroke Brett Hanson, Pat Shober, Steve Brown, Jack Marczyk, Jake Fabel, Harrison Gargel, Austine Theuret, bow Andrew Light and coxswain Giovanni Magro.

La Salle High School (Pa.) was the overall points winner with 95 points. St. Augustine Prep was second with 90 points, and Chaminade (N.Y.) was third with 67.

La Salle won the six-boat varsity eight race in 4:35.24.

Ocean City at Middletown, Del.: The Ocean City boys crew team won the freshman/novice-eight race in 5:08.6 and the second freshman/novice-eight race in 5:28.0 at a regatta. The Ocean City girls team won the fifth eight race in 6:29.44.
