Golf roundup: Absegami uses fifth scorer to break tie, edge Ocean City

The Absegami High School golf team went to their fifth scorer to break a 164-164 final with host Ocean City at the par-35 Greate Bay Country Club in a Cape-Atlantic League American Conference match Thursday.

Chris Filling shot a 44 for the Braves, the No. 11 team in The Press Elite 11, to give Absegami a 208-211 advantage. Kasey Frazier led Absegami with a 36, while Christian Foti shot a 40.

Ocean City’s top golfers were Jack Henshaw (38) and Dom DiGiacomo (38). DiGiacomo birdied twice for the Red Raiders.
