Lacrosse roundup: James Kitchen's goal gives St. Augustine Prep overtime victory

James Kitchen scored 2 minutes, 20 seconds into overtime to give the St. Augustine Prep lacrosse team a 6-5 win against William Penn Charter on Wednesday.

The Hermits led 3-0 after the first quarter, but needed two goals in the fourth to come back and force overtime.

Kitchen's goal was his second of the game. It came on the heels of Bryce McGrath's game-tying goal with 45 seconds left in regulation.

Tom DeMarco led the Panthers with five goals. Jack Dennis had three goals and three asists and Alex Terenik scored a goal with a game-high five assists.

Zach Bunchanan also scored three goals for Middle and Tom Williams made 12 saves.

Lower's Devin Williams had a goal and two assists.

Dylan Jinks led Southern with eight goals and three assists. Chris Smith and Kyle Mulrane both scored three for the Rams. Brendan Lefanto had eight saves for Southern.
