Egg Harbor Township High School beatt host Absegami 6-0 in a boys lacrosse game Wednesday to take the lead in the Cape-Atlantic League race.

Nick Johnson scored twice to lead the Eagles and Doug McKenna and Phil Egnor each had a goal and an assist. Christian Custodio made six saves for the shutout.

EHT will take its 12-1 league record to Mainland Regional, which has two CAL losses, at 4 p.m. Friday. With a win, the Eagles could clinch the program's first CAL title. If Mainland wins, the two would share the crown.
