Mainland Regional High School senior Anna Gordon tied a school record for single game goals with eight as the Mustangs beat Absegami 18-8 in a Cape-Atlantic League girls lacrosse game.

Gordon, who also had two assists, tied the mark held by Kelly Klever in 2008 and Riley Dolan in 2012. Kailey Stangle added four goals and two assists for the Mustangs.

Christina Slelitzey and Nicole Goodwin had three goals apiece for Absegami.

Ocean City's Tess Solazzo led with seven goals, including four in the first half, and one assist. Kelly Hanna scored three goals for the visiting Red Raiders. O.C. goalie Maura Twiggs had 14 saves.

EHT's Courtney Eble and Mackenzie Meyer had three goals apiece.
