Junior attackman Brendan Mullen scored a career high six goals as the Southern Regional High School boys lacrosse team advanced to its first-ever South Jersey Group IV final with an 11-7 win over Lenape in the semifinals Thursday.

Mullen also had an assist. Tyler Lipositz and Dylan Jinks added one goal and three assists apiece for the top-seeded Rams, No. 4 in The Press Elite 11.

Southern outscored Lenape, the No. 5 seed, 6-1 in the third quarter to pull away. The Rams host Monroe Township at 11 a.m. Saturday in the sectional championship.
