Lacrosse roundup: Corrine Etter's four goals carry Millville girls over Egg Harbor Township

With the score locked at four after the first half, Corrine Etter posted four of her game-high six goals in the second half to propel Millville High School to a 12-8 victory over visiting Egg Harbor Township in a Cape-Atlantic League girls lacrosse game Tuesday.

Megan Hoffman contributed in the Thunderbolts' first win of the season with two second-half goals, while Jamie Parent scored twice, once in each half. Goalie Julia Limbeck stopped 12 shots.

For Egg Harbor Township, Courtney Eble led with three goals and one assist. Mackenzie Meyer and Lauren Angello each added a goal and two assists for the Eagles.

Lower Cape May Reg. 15, OT

Riley Dolan scored two of her game-high seven goals in the overtime period to lift Mainland to victory. Taylor Kleever and Anna Gordon contributed three goals apiece for the Mustangs and Kailey Strangle had two.

For Lower Cape May, Ashley Hunt and Madie Gibson scored back-to-back goals in the final six minutes of regulation to force the overtime period. Gibson ended with two goals, while Nicole Sangillo and Lindsay Lare led the Caper Tigers with five and four goals, respectively. Victoria Mann added a goal and two assists for Lower Cape May.

Tess Solazzo paced Ocean City to its first win of the season with five goals and an assist. Kelly Hanna recorded three goals and assists, apiece. Casey Hanna also scored three goals for the Red Raiders.

For Middle Township, Maddie Anagnou scored a game-high six goals.

Holly Brewster led Lacey with four goals and two assists. Brittany Biele and Maura Weaver each added three goals. Weaver also had an assist.

Lauren Salemme scored twice and had two assists for the Lions.

Bethany Cunningham and Nicole Federovich scored three goals apeice for Barnegat.
