Maddie Anagnou scored seven goals and had four assists as she scored her 100th goal and Middle Township High School beat Absegami 18-12 in a Cape-Atlantic League girls lacrosse game Thursday.
"I wasn't going into the game thinking I was going to get it," Anagnou said. "It was a really good experience though and I'm very happy that I actually made it to my 100th goal."
The junior was exactly seven goals away entering Thursday's game.
"I didn't think I'd score that many," Anagnou said. "We weren't really prepared for it, so my mom had to run out and buy balloons."
Teammate Victoria Deever scored six goals and had three assists. Summer Herling added three goals for the Panthers.
Nicole Goodwin led Absegami with six goals and one assist. Christian Skalitzky and Morgan Millar scored two goals apeice.
