The Ocean City High School boys lacrosse team beat Mainland Regional 9-8 in a Cape-Atlantic League game on Friday.

Dylan Fahy scored with 2 minutes, 16 seconds left to make it 9-6. Mainland scored two goals from Chris Shelden and Timothy Tighe to make it 9-8 but couldn't complete the comeback.

Fahy, Chris Mateer and Kyle Conrad scored two goals each for Ocean City. Tighe led the Mustangs with four goals.

Ocean City's Peter Anderson made 12 saves, giving him 235 saves in his career for the Red Raiders. He broke the school record, previously held by 2011 graduate Chris Ferraro with 230.
