Lacrosse roundup: Gary Albano ties Absegami's single-game points record

Gary Albano tied the school record for most points in a game as Absegami High School shutout Winslow Township 4-0 in a nonleague boys lacrosse game Tuesday.

Albano tallied two goals and six assists for eight points-the school record-which was set by Ben Hubbard in 2011.

Meanwhile, senior goalie Colin Weiner registered his first varsity career shutout as the Braves' defense allowed just three shots on net.

Austin Goodwin and Chris Henchy led Absegami with three goals and two assists, apiece.

Tyler Lipositz tallied three goals and four assists to lead Southern. Dylan Jinks, Sean McManus and Al Manzo each scored twice for the Rams.

Victoria Mann led all scorers with six goals and three assists for Lower. Lindsay Lare contributed with five goals and an assist. Nicole Sangillo added four goals and had three assists for the Caper Tigers.

Nicole Goodwin and Morgan Millar each scored three goals for Absegami.

Victoria Deever scored the game-winning goal with less than a minute remaining for Middle Township.

Deever and Maddie Anagnou each scored six goals for the Panthers.

BryAnna Swanson, Courtney DeFalco, Cassie Mancella and Jamie Hutter each scored twice for Oakcrest.
