Senior Sarah Martin threw a complete game with five strikeouts to lead Atlantic Christian School to a 10-2 win over Pilgrim Academy in the Tri-State Christian Athletic Conference softball championship game at Philadelphia Biblical University in Langhorne, Pa., on Saturday.

Martin, who went 2-for-3 with two runs scored, was named the conference MVP after the game.

"They just played great all year," Atlantic Christian coach Mark Smith said. "Especially our pitcher, Sarah. She's just really overcome a lot. This was her first full year as a starting pitcher and she went above and beyond the whole year. She was the MVP and deserved to go out like she did."

Ani Karabashian went 2-for-4 with two runs and an RBI for Atlantic Christian, which is in Egg Harbor Township. Jonie Mercadante was 2-for-3 with two runs scored.

Hanna Hutton was 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI for Pilgrim, which is in Galloway Township. Hiley Maguire drove in a run. Both Hutton and Maguire were named first-team all-conference.
