Mays Landing's Joanna Coe misses cut at LPGA Qualifying

Mays Landing native Joanna Coe shot a 3-over par 75 Saturday and missed the cut in the final stage of LPGA Qualifying School at LPGA International in Daytona Beach, Fla.

The top 70 players plus ties advanced to today's final round. Coe, an Oakcrest High School graduate, finished tied for 94th at 72-76-72-75 - 295 and missed the cut by four strokes.

She got off to a promising start by carding birdies on three of the first four holes on the Hills Course at LPGA International, but couldn't sustain the momentum. Five birdies were offset by a pair of double-bogeys and three bogeys.

Coe, 24. is expected to return for a third season on the Symetra Tour next year.
