Atlantic County Improvement Authority offers loans to Atlantic City residents to repair homes
The Atlantic County Improvement Authority is offering Atlantic City residents loans of as much as $25,000 to rehabilitate or fix up their homes.
The program allows the residents interest-free loans for repairs or to get their properties up to code.
Applicants must own and occupy the property, and their household income cannot exceed $100,000. The properties in Atlantic City must be insured, and municipal property taxes must be paid in full.
Each loan must be secured by a mortgage to be repaid to the program in full at the time of resale, transfer of title or refinancing if the new mortgage is structured so the owner cannot meet the program’s subordination conditions.
Homeowners interested in applying may call the ACIA at 609-645-5838 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
