Benefit at Hard Rock Cafe to help victims of Hurricane Sandy
Ashore Realty in Brigantine is organizing Friday's Rock 4 Recovery Hurricane Relief Benefit to raise funds for several organizations helping victims of Hurricane Sandy.
The benefit, produced by Rock Solid Productions, is scheduled to take place at 8:30 p.m. at the Hard Rock Cafe at the Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort in Atlantic City.
The event will be be hosted by the 100.7 WZXL Joe & Scott in the Morning Show and seven bands are scheduled to appear. Guests can enter to win a Harley Davidson and a silent auction will include a guitar signed by the Allman Brothers, a two-night stay at Tropicana with free admission for eight and a VIP Booth at Boogie Nights and a $700 surfboard from Heritage Surf Shop with a private surf lesson from pro surfer Rob Kelly.
Proceeds from ticket sales, the silent auction and sponsorships will benefit Restore the Shore, Hometown Heros and WHY Hunger. Tickets start at $20 and can be purchased at the door. For information, visit www.shorehomesblog.com
