Hurricane Sandy victims who have not yet registered for help have less than two weeks to register for recovery assistance with the Federal Emergency Management Agency, or FEMA, Atlantic County spokesperson Linda Gilmore said Sunday.

In a press release, Gilmore reminded area residents that the dealine to register with FEMA is March 1.

Online registrations are being accepted at www.disasterassistance.gov or by web-enabled devices at m.fema.gov. Registrations by phone will be accepted 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.  daily through March 1.

Residents can call 1-800-621-3362 or TTY 1-800-462-7585.

Gilmore also said that March 1 is the deadline to return applications to the U.S. Small Business Administration for low-interest disaster loans. Those loans can be applied for online at https://disasterloan.sba.gov/ela.
