Utilities continue to restore power after Hurricane Irene
Some New Jerseyans who lost electricity because of Hurricane Irene are entering their third day without power.
There are 342,521 homes and businesses without service early Tuesday in the state.
Atlantic City Electric says 20,921 customers don't have service.
Jersey Central Power & Light, which serves Ocean County and the central part of the state, is reporting 240,000 outages.
Public Service Electric & Gas, serving North Jersey, has 99,600. The utility says flooding is posing a major challenge to restoration efforts in Bergen, Middlesex, Somerset and Union counties.
