Wildwood's Boardwalk may be best known for its yellow tram cars - "Watch the tram car please" - but the 2-mile Boardwalk is also known for its plethora of food stands, rides, waterparks, arcades and games of chance.

Stretching 38 blocks from 16th Avenue in North Wildwood to Cresse Avenue in Wildwood Crest, Wildwood's Boardwalk is arguably the most fun Boardwalk in southern New Jersey. While Ocean City may be the family spot, Wildwood is the place where teenagers and young adults are as abundant as families.

With great pizza joints like Mack's, landmark restaurants like Groff's, plenty of taffy and fudge shops and five amusement piers - including three owned by Morey's - there's something for everyone on the Wildwood Boardwalk. Roller-coaster enthusiasts delight in the four world-class coasters, and go-karts, miniature golf courses and T-shirt shops are plentiful. There are also three waterparks located right on the boards. Morey's offers a variety of combination and multi-day passes for individuals and families http://www.moreyspiers.com/prices/24/ticket-pass-prices.

The Wildwoods Convention Center offers major concerts and events regularly http://www.wildwoodsnj.com/calendar-cc.cfm and you can even go for a Monster Truck ride on the massive beach. If it rains, the Strand Movie Theatre, 3100 Boardwalk,  is a good alternative to getting wet. Call 609-523-0288

With a doo-wop theme that runs sporadically throughout town, Wildwood may be nostalgic, but its offerings are eclectic to draw people of all ages.

Parking is a cinch as there are meters along the streets and private parking lots available for about $5.
