Hockey returns to Boardwalk Hall for a Saturday night of cool family fun

With so much snow on the ground, why not take the family to see some action on the ice?

On Friday, Feb. 4, there will be a doubleheader of hockey games at Atlantic City's Boardwalk Hall. The day features the starts with a clash of minor league teams, with the Albany Devils skating against the Hershey Bears. Following the game, the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey hockey team will play the group from Rowan University.

Want more hockey action? On Feb. 7, the Albany Devils will be playing the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. This is a makeup for a scheduled Dec. 12 game that had to be postponed when there was a problem with the ice inside the landmark Atlantic City arena.

Face-off between the two teams starts 7 p.m. Feb. 4 in the arena at Boardwalk Hall, 2301 Boardwalk, Atlantic City. Single-game tickets are $25 for the first two rows on the glass, $20 for the lower bowl and $15 for the upper bowl. Group rates and discounts for children ages 2 to 12 are available, and four-packs, which include four tickets in the upper bowl, four soft drinks and four hot dogs, are $61 and must be purchased in advance.
