BACKGROUND: Boardwalk Hall is one of the largest venues at the New Jersey shore for music, sports, and more. Everyone from Bruce Springsteen to the Rolling Stones have played Boardwalk Hall, which for decades also hosted the annual Miss America Pageant.

INSIDER INFO: The building, dedicated in 1929, is also on the National Register of Historic Places. It is an art deco marvel among a skyline dominated by glitzy casinos. On the side of the building is a plaque honoring the city residents who fought in the Spanish-American War - how many times have you come across any kind of monument dedicated to that conflict?

WHERE: It is located on Kennedy Plaza at 2301 Boardwalk in Atlantic City. http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=Boardwalk+Hall,+Atlantic+City,+NJ&sll=39.358773,-74.457865&sspn=0.007648,0.011673&gl=us&ie=UTF8&hq=Boardwalk+Hall,&hnear=Atlantic+City,+NJ&ll=39.359984,-74.438381&spn=0.030593,0.046692&z=14&iwloc=A" target="_blank">CLICK HERE FOR DIRECTIONS.
