BACKGROUND: With a history as rich as Cape May's, there are bound to be a few skeletons - or at least ghosts - in the closet. Luckily for visitors with a supernatural interest, a small industry has sprung up offering tours of the city's haunted locations.
WALKING TOUR: The Walking Ghost Tour operating out of Elaine's Dinner Theater and themed restaurant at 513 Lafayette St. offers an hour of ghostly tales nightly. CLICK HERE FOR DIRECTIONS.

TROLLY TOUR: The Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts is the place to go for the Ghosts of Cape May Trolley Tour, a 30-minute ride through some of the city's ghostly locations.

HOURS AND COST: Most tours leave daily at 7:45 and 9:30 p.m., but additional tours do take place at 8:45 p.m. on some nights, so call 609-884-5404 for information and reservations. Cost is $10 for adults, $7 for children ages 3 to 12.
