EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP — The Arc of Atlantic County will host three workshops to help families who have a child with intellectual or developmental disabilities learn about resources available.

The workshops will provide information on “supports available through The Arc of Atlantic County for children who will be transitioning from high school to adulthood,” Chief Operations Officer Pat Jones said.

The first workshop, Transitioning from School to Adult Life, is set for March 19. The second, Support Programs, is set for April 9, and the third, Housing Supports, for April 16.

The workshops will run from 6 to 8 p.m. at The Arc of Atlantic County, 6550 Delilah Road, Suite 101.

My beat is public safety, following police and crime. I started in January 2018 here at the Press covering Egg Harbor and Galloway townships. Before that, I worked at the Reading Eagle in Reading, Pa., covering crime and writing obituaries.
