ATLANTIC CITY — A city man was arrested after approximately 1,200 bags of heroin and three handguns were found during a searching his home Tuesday, police said. 

At 2:15 p.m., members of the Atlantic City Police Department's Special Investigations Section executed a search warrant at a home in the 900 block of Ohio Avenue. Police recovered the large quantity of heroin, three loaded handguns and $6,772 in cash, believed to be from drug sales. Police also said one of the handguns had been reported stolen from Egg Harbor Township.

Francis Kelly, 36, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession with intent to distribute, possession with intent to distribute within 500 feet of a public zone and 1000 feet of schooled zone, three counts of unlawful w Kelly, Francis eapons possession, possession of a weapon while committing a CDS offense and receiving stolen property.

Kelly is being held in the Atlantic County Justice Facility in Mays Landing.
