ABSECON - Police are looking for the suspect in a Sunday morning.
Police said that officers were called at 5:15 am to Shore Road and E. Illlinois Ave for a report of robbery.
The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, skinny build, short hair, and wearing white t-shirt & blue pants.
Police said the man was robbing the victim of one hundred dollars cash when a passing motorist interrupted and the accused male took off on foot into a Red Mitsubishi Mirage. This vehicle then fled onto Shore Road southbound towards Pleasantville, police said.
The incident is being investigated by Patrolman Howell.
