The Stop the Violence Coalition of Atlantic County will share its year-end report this week at a meeting at the Carnegie Library in Atlantic City.

The meeting will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, and include John Emge, of the United Way, presenting a list of all the things the county coalition did in the past year, President Perry Mays said.

The evening also will include results of a survey done of residents in several of Atlantic City's housing projects concerning safety, Mays said.

Atlantic City Mayor Lorenzo Langford is expected to attend. Pleasantville Mayor Jesse Tweedle will be unable to make the meeting as originally planned, as he will be joining a group of Mayors Against Illegal Guns heading to Washington, D.C., to push for better national gun-control laws. But Pleasantville City Council President Judy Ward will be there.
