The Cape May - Lewes Ferry has canceled several departures from Cape May scheduled for Friday in anticipation of the effects of Hurricane Earl.

 

Ferry service will be suspended for scheduled departures from 8:30 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday, according to a release from the Delaware River and Bay Authority. Departures from Lewes, Delaware, are canceled between 10:15 a.m. and 8:45 p.m. on Friday.

 

The DRBA said that service could also be affected on Saturday.
