Ocean Township police arrested an Ocean Township man Dec. 11 and charged him with theft and other various charges.

Dominic Russano III, of Waretown, was charged with burglary, theft and criminal mischief after he allegedly broke into a home in the Sand Point section of Ocean Township and stole $3,375 worth of jewelry, said police.

Police said a wedding band, various other rings and necklaces were reported missing during the Dec. 10 incident.

Additionally, Russano has been charged with possession of heroin, possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of hypodermic needles, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of an unlawful weapon and possession of an unlawful weapon by a convicted felon, police said.

Also, police said they arrested Brenna Haase, of Lacey Township, and charged her with aiding to commit burglary and theft and conspiracy to commit burglary and theft.

She was arrested Dec. 17, police said, adding that about $1,375 worth of the stolen jewelry has been recovered and returned to the victim.
