Stafford Township man treated for smoke inhalation after motor home fire

STAFFORD TOWNSHIP - A man was taken to the hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation Monday night after his motor home caught fire in the Manahawkin section of the township, police said.

The fire broke out at 8:18 p.m. on the 100 block of Division Street, and the Stafford Township Volunteer Fire Company responded to put it out, police said. The homeowner, whose name was not available at press time, was taken by Stafford Township First Aid Squad to Southern Ocean County Hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation.

The fire is under investigation by the Ocean County Fire Marshal's Office and Stafford police.
