JACKSON TOWNSHIP - Police say about 1,000 people were turned away after doses of swine flu vaccine ran out at a New Jersey flu shot clinic.

Ocean County health officials had 1,500 doses.

Assistant Public Health Coordinator Daniel Regenye says Monday's clinic in Jackson Township was scheduled from 3 to 7:30 p.m. However, people began arriving as early as 9 a.m.

County health officials will meet Tuesday to discuss how to handle the crowd expected at another clinic that's scheduled for Thursday in Stafford Township.

The county says additional shipments of swine flu vaccine are expected.

The government isn't producing the vaccine, the BIG pharmaceutical companies are - You know the ones YOU believe when they tell all their lies about healthcare reform because it may impact their obscene profits. The delays are production based, NOT government caused.
