Love is in the air in Atlantic City, which placed highly in a recent list of the most romantic cities in the U.S., CRDA announced Monday.
The city was named the 4th Most Romantic City in the United States by restaurant reservation provider OpenTable, placing above such cities as Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Miami and Boston. San Antonio, TX; St. Louis, MO; and Providence, RI ranked first, second and third, respectively.
The Casino Reinvestment Development Authority recommends several romantic hotspots for couples looking to celebrate Valentine’s Day in Atlantic City, including the Sky Garden at Revel, the Historic Absecon Lighthouse and the Heartwalk Sculpture on the Boardwalk at New York Avenue.
OpenTable calculated its list by grading cities on the percentage of restaurants rated “romantic” by reviewers, the percentage of table seated for two and the percentage of people who dined out for Valentine’s Day.
