The Westside Neighborhood Protective Association will host Atlantic City’s first “Coffee with a Cop” this Friday.
The new program is part of the Police Department’s outreach efforts to partner with the community.
The first one is set for 9 a.m. Friday at 706 N. Ohio Ave.
“No agenda or speeches,” the flier announcing it promises. “Just a chance to ask questions, voice concerns and get to know the officers in your neighborhood.
The event comes two weeks after the debut of the “Pizza with Police” program, which has officers sit down with students at various schools in the city and have pizza.
