Police said Devonish robbed a convenience store in the 1000 block of Pacific Avenue at about 12:40 a.m. and fled on foot toward Virginia Avenue.

After calling police, a victim from the convenience store followed Devonish to the Taj Mahal and told an officer Devonish was on the casino floor, police said.

Officer Omar Martin located Devonish on the casino floor and took him into custody.

Devonish had a handgun when he was arrested, police said, and was later identified by the victim as the robber.
