An Atlantic City man was arrested for allegedly robbing a bank in Burlington County Friday.  

New Jersey State troopers arrested Mandel Aikens, 26, for robbery and theft. He was transported to BurlingtonCounty jail on $50,000 cash bail.

Police said Aikens entered the Fulton Bank of New Jersey on Route Hainesport at 9:55 a.m., passed a note to a teller demanding money and fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Bank employees recorded a description of the vehicle and the license plate number. The beige Chevy Impala was rented from a business in Galloway Township and Aikens was arrested Saturday when he returned the rental car, police said.

Police also said they recovered evidence linking Aikens to the robbery.
