An Atlantic City man was convicted Friday for illegally selling firearms.
David J. Albright, 43, sold a 7.62 caliber Arsenal SLR-95 assault rifle to a police informant on Aug. 4, 2011. He also displayed a handgun at the meeting before police intervened and arrested him.
On Friday, the jury gave a guilty verdict for unlawful possession of an assault firearm, unlawful possession of a handgun, unlawful sale of an assault weapon, and two counts of unlawful possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Albright is now in custody pending sentencing.
