Three teens were arrested and a weapon recovered following an armed robbery Thursday night in the parking lot of the Atlantic City McDonald's on Arkansas Avenue.

The male victim called police shortly after 9 p.m. and gave a detailed description of the car, which was then spotted on Albany Avenue by Vice Unit Detectives Mike Ruzzo, William Herrerias and James Herbert, Sgt. Rodney Ruark said.

The detectives followed the car in their unmarked vehicle until it pulled a driveway in the West Atlantic City section of Egg Harbor Township.

As they approached the vehicle and identified themselves as police, one of the suspects -- later identified as Tre Visco, 18, who lives in the home -- tried to hide the gun in the seat of the car, Ruark said.

The gun -- a .380-caliber defaced handgun -- was recovered, and Visco was charged with possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.

Visco was also charged with armed robbery and conspiracy, along with the other two suspects: Patrick Finnerty, 19, of Brigantine and a 17-year-old male whose name was not released due to his age.

Visco and Finnerty are jailed on $150,000 bail each. The juvenile was transported to

Harbor Fields Juvenile Detention Center in Egg Harbor City.
