Atlantic City police arrested two men after video of a strong-arm robbery Saturday led to a home on Adriatic Avenue.
The victim was robbed of about $200 at 5:50 a.m. Saturday at the TD Bank on North Pennsylvania Avenue.
Officer Brian Hambrecht recognized the suspect from the video, and went to his home with Officer Darrin Lorady, Sgt. Monica McMenamin said.
The officers arrested Tamel Knuckles, 21, and — after given consent to search the apartment — found a loaded AK47 and the clothing worn at the time of the robbery, McMenamin said.
Also arrested was Israel Knuckles, 18. Both were charged with possession of an assault weapon. Tamel Knuckles was additionally charged with robbery.
Both are being held on $150,000 bail.
Police issued a warrant for Walter French, 27, of the 800 block of North Michigan Avenue, on a warrant for possession of an assault weapon.
French was previously convicted on robbery, conspiracy and weapons charges. He served more than two years at Mid-State Correctional Facility in Wrightstown, Burlington County, and was released in November 2011.
