ATLANTIC CITY — The pool and spa at Bally’s Atlantic City have been closed due to a malfunctioning temperature gauge on the spa and a “chemical imbalance” in the pool, a spokeswoman said.
A sign at the entrance dated July 25 stated the pool will be closed until further notice. Katie Dougherty, director of public relations for Caesars Entertainment Atlantic City, explained the problem Saturday.
“The Bally’s Spa temperature gauge, which alarms when the temperature rises above 104 degrees, has malfunctioned. At the same time, we noticed a chemical imbalance in the pool and decided to close until the two items can be fixed. We hope to have the pool and spa back up and running for our guests sometime next week. Until then, all of Bally’s hotel guests will have access to the Showboat pool,” Dougherty said.
