Beach Haven will receive a $3.6 million FEMA reimbursement to cover some of the $4.8 million the municipality spent on debris removal following Sandy, according to the Governor's Office.

Beach Haven was one of six municipalities in the state to receive debris removal reimbursements, the Governor’s Office said in a release. Statewide, $13 million was distributed in debris removal reimbursement.

Between the six municipalities, 333,922 cubic-yards of disaster-generated debris was cleared.
