Buena Vista Township will hold its 12th annual “Community Health and Awareness Day” on April 3 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the township’s Municipal Building, 890 Harding Highway.
Residents can receive information regarding health, safety and leisure issues from 31 local agencies that will have representatives in attendance There will also be a free light breakfast and lunch.
AtlantiCare will provide a truck at the fair to provide mammograms for residents. The mammograms can be covered by insurance or through some funds that can be made available for residents, said Mayor Sue Barber. Appointments are required and can be made by calling 1-800-246-2404.
