Brigantine police are advising residents to practice increased vigilance following a series of burglaries in recent weeks.
Lt. Jim Bennett said four burglaries of flat screen TVs and other electronic devices have taken place between 27th and 39th Streets South. Many of the burglaries take place between 4 p.m. and the early morning hours.
In most cases, entry has been made through unlocked doors and windows, he said. Residents are urged to ensure their homes are locked.
Any suspicious activity should be reported to Brigantine Police at 609-266-7414, or 911 in the case of emergencies.
