The National Weather Service predicts a mix of snow and rain this evening as a cold front approaches South Jersey.
Precipitation late this afternoon may turn to snow or a mix of rain and snow after sunset, the agency said, but South Jersey is expected to see less than an inch of snow, if any.
Areas north of I-78 might see a couple inches of snow starting at rush hour.
Below-freezing temperatures are predicted for most of the week. Wind chills could make it feel like single digit temperatures by Tuesday.
Nights this week should have lows in the 20s and teens. Daytime highs the rest of the week should be in the 20s and low 30s.
