Charges dropped in assault case involving Ventnor firefighter, Atlantic City lifeguard

Charges have been dismissed in the arrest of Ventnor firefighter and Atlantic City lifeguard Eric Grant.

Grant was arrested Nov. 7 and charged with aggravated assault. He was transported to the Atlantic County Justice Facility on $25,000 cash bail set by Municipal Court Judge Howard Freed, posted the bail and was released the same day. Details of the incident were not released.

The charges were dropped Jan. 15.
