Gov. Chris Christie announced he made appointments of several local residents Monday.
* Arthur Stig Blomkvest, of North Cape May, and John B. Feeley, of Sea Isle City, were appointed to the Cape May County Board of Elections.
* Joseph E. Salvatore, of Cape May, was appointed to the New Jersey Historical Commission.
* Patricia Anne Salvatore, of Cape May, was appointed to the New Jersey Historic Trust.
* James M. Rutala, of Linwood, was appointed to the New Jersey Commission on Capital Budgeting and Planning.
