One person was injured in a collision between a personal watercraft and a boat  in the Great Egg Harbor Inlet between Longport and Ocean City Wednesday afternoon

Coast Guard Petty Officer Nick Ameen said that the accident took place shortly after noon. A boat crew from Coast Guard Station Atlantic City responded and pulled a man from the water with leg injuries. He was taken to the Somers Point Marina and Shore Medical Center.

State Police are leading the investigation into the incident, Ameen said.
